WE ARE COMMITTED TO IMPROVING MENTAL HEALTH CARE IN CANADA
The Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation is committed to advancing Mental Health care in Canada by improving access to care and combatting stigma.
Mental health issues comprise a wide array of struggles: whether it’s with situational bouts of depression, crippling anxiety or debilitating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a staggering one in five Canadians is affected by mental health issues in their lifetime. No one is untouched.

In order to eradicate obstacles hindering Canada’s Mental Health system, the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation's Project Lion represents bravery in the face of Mental Health challenges. The focus is on 2 areas: youth mental health and military-related PTSD. Our enthusiasm for this philanthropic endeavor is met by the opportunity for creating meaningful impact.
Help us advance Mental Health care in Canada by improving access to care and combatting stigma.
Together we can make a difference!

Youth Mental Health
Young people are more likely to experience mental health disorders than any other age group, but are severely underserved when it comes to mental health care.
Military-Related PTSD
Military-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is an area with a large unmet need, which unfortunately continues to grow as military conflicts persist.
